Undergraduate Students:

  • How can I declare the Health Informatics Minor?
    • You can declare minor(s) with your Major advisor.
  • What are the requirements for the Health Informatics Minor/Informatics Major with HI Specialization?
  • How do I know if I am on track to graduate with the Health Informatics Minor?
    • We recommend consulting with your major advisor first to ensure that you are on your track with your major! The PHIT team can then answer questions specifically about our program. Email us at phitinfo@uci.edu and a team member will get back to you!

Graduate Students:

  • Can Graduate Students partake in the PHIT Summer Internship Program in Summer 2025?
    • Yes! See below the eligibility requirements for graduate students interested in being a Summer 2025 intern:
      • Graduate students must be working towards the Graduate Certificate in Health and Public Health Informatics in order to be eligible.
      • Graduate students who have previously taken or are enrolled in one of the foundational courses in Health Informatics at the time of their internship application will be eligible to apply for the Internship Program.
